Transfer By Hired Car

next time we go to icmeler maybe again this year or next year im thinking of doing my own transfer by hiring a car @ airport keeping it for the 2 weeks and droping it off when we get back to dalaman. Has anyone done this ??? how was it ? do you recommend it ?

We've never done, to be honest we've never been brave enough !
If I could understand the road signs, signals etc I would maybe consider it. Trouble is though, after a couple of beers on the plane I'd want to sleep anyway !!!! Personally I think ICR transfer is great as you are at your resort in no time and I'd hire a car in Icmeler.
Correct me if I'm wrong but is petrol in Turkey about the same price as at home per litre ?
