Postby skilly » 07 Aug 2007 16:07

i just read on another forum that you can't change sterling travellers cheques in Icmeler any more. Is there any truth in this as we always use sterling travellers cheques

I used Sterling in June with no problems - although I'm sure when you exchange your money they'll advise you on the best type to take. I can't imagine It'll have changed though :?

Skilly - just asked my son who works in HSBC. He said that's no true. If there was anythig to it he would have heard. He said if you're concerned, ask at your bank or check their website - any changes would be on the main page. As I said though, he's heard nothing.

I used travellers cheques in June with no problem. My son's friend is going in a few weeks and he's getting travellers cheques - both sterling.
