Hehe

I bought some lovely good quality silver jewellery from a guy across the road from Titanic. If you stand with your back to Titanic and cross over the road then walk to your right you will come across him. He also has a lady working in the shop. I got rings, bracelet etc for an absolute bargain price.

Best place to buy Silver

Postby janden » 01 Aug 2007 12:35

Hi Erik, I think you will find that silver chains are not as good a buy as gold.Last June or Sept my wife bought a lot of silver/ mother of pearl jewellery which we thought was a good buy.I also bought a chunky silver chain it weighed 2 1/4 OZ & it worked out at about £26 . A 2oz chain at Argos is £30. The shop we used was called The Three Sisters they have a clothes shop on opposite side of road,it might be the one scallyally mentioned, opposite Ruby Jewellers,Mellissa/Titanic restaurants .Check weights & prices before you go.
Hope someone comes up with smilie face badges in the coming weeks.

It could be that one yes Janden the name doesnt ring a bell though but then I dont know the name so it could be!! All I know is that it is an open shop with a few counters outside, maybe that could whittle it down! I got a gorgeous thumb ring that is very unusual for £4 a lovely bracelet for £6 a silver wedding ring for £5 and husband got a wedding ring for £6. I also got a good size blue eye to put on a chain from there too. They had them at 20 lire but I bought 3 for 9 lire each, theyre gorgeous, light blue and dark blue. Bargain.

Happy shopping!

I bought a lovely bracelt and ring from a shop accross from the underground market area for great prices - think both cost about £20 but both are something I haven't seen here.
