My Affair

It seems a long time ago now the first time I was introduced to Icmeler.
Friends of ours went on how they had found the perfect resort so we booked two weeks in August at the Hotel 47.

The first year we just used to have a meal out in the evening then make our way back to the hotel for drinks,small bottles of Efes.
But the fortnight was brilliant so we booked again for the following year at this same hotel.
Like it happens bar staff changed at our hotel so in the evenng we used to go to Davids Bar this was just up from the Fortuna Hotel.
Again a fantastic holiday,good hotel, nice bar, new friends.
We repeated this for the next two years things just seemed to get better with every holiday.

Then it Happened Davids Bar was knocked down, along with a lot of other small bars and shops.

Standing outside were Davids bar used to be, now just wasteland
I scratched my head,
What do we do now?
Then I remembered that someone had told me about this karaoke bar at the other end of town called Deniz Kapisi, so I thought well we have to go somewere, so we walked to the Kapisi and spent the night there and then the next and the next and so on.

I think it was at that time my true love affair with Icmeler started she has become my dream, a dream that we all must have that helps me through the rest of the year untill I can see her again.

Do you know bibbs thats typical of the younger men of today.
No respect for the older man and my deep feelings,
you expect to come along in your Y Fronts and try to steal my love.

Sometimes people laugh at my emotional outbursts and say,
"Its Only A Place"

But I would reply,
"Yes but Heaven is only a place but one day we all hope to end up their"

In Icmeler we can visit our heaven now while we can still breath and enjoy.

To me she is beautifull,vibrant and sensual,
full of charm and mystery.
She fills my heart and stimulates my mind.

You have no need to come along bibbs and try to steal her love because she will give it to you gladly.
Just give your love to her.
Thats all she will ask.

Och away man, aye, I love Marmaris, but I also go to Icmeler some evenings. My favourite place in Icmeler is The Red Lion, I think Ciay and Gogo are brillint. Also the guy who does the Michael Jackson.

You see, I do know what I am talking about hehe.

That hotel 47 has never changed Gene we have stayed there 3 times now and this year will be our 4th time thought it has changed hands now.
