Hi Loopylou,

You go to Icmeler the day we come home. So I will be going back to Newcastle on the same plane you came on! :-(

It is my first time to Icmeler and can't wait, so am taking notes of all the restaurants that everyone is recommending!

I hope you have a lovely wedding - cos by all sounds you are going to have a lovely honeymoon.

Special restaurants

I agree with Elkie - Mario's has a lovely view from the top floor, over the bay, but just dont order mussels!!! Mine came up and were all closed, so even if I could have eaten them, I would have been quite ill.

How about trying the Liberty bar just past Deniz Kapsi to the right of the bay - they set up the jetty at night, with tables, and little lights, it's so romantic, and the guys cant do enough for you.

Have a wonderful honeymoon[/b]

We would recommend the following places to eat, Goldern Moon is our favourite followed by Chef, Boujour, Love boat and titanic. All are fantastic people and make you feel very special.

I'd have to agree with this, the food at the Chef is wonderful and you'll get great service. We went there twice whilst on holiday and haven't been dissapointed and the restaurant is packed most evenings where as the love boat was more like a deserted ship

The selam is deffinately worth trying!! (even if it isn't for your honeymoon meal!) only a small quiet restauraunt but its very relaxing and very special. The food in there is some of the best i have had in icmeler and we go every time. The music is perfect too, really sets the scene!!!

enjoy your honeymoon! :D

the loveboat because the woman think the waiters are gorgeous in their sailor suits.the food is ok as well.
but for me i would book the upstairs balcony table in the Karem and watch the world go by.an oasis of calm on the canal, and the food is to die for.it is also an award winning restaurant.
