Ok here is something that Luci from HT advised me to do to get into the chat room on there using Visat.

It may help and it may not but it helped me so here goes.

1. Click the Start (Windows Logo) icon
2. Select 'All Programs'
3. Select 'Accessories'
4. Right-Click on 'Command Prompt'
5. Click 'Run as Administrator'
6. A dialog box will ask you to confirm. Click the 'Continue' button to proceed.
7. Type: netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled
8. Press 'Enter'
9. The message 'Ok.' should appear.
10. Type: exit

Just tried that and still doesn't work, I get the message to run a add on installer and when I click run its stops working.

I also turned on my Data Encrypted protection to allow it :(

I'll dig out my XP laptop later and try that

Lets hope when Microsoft release Vienna in 16 months time they have thought it out better :?

webcam

Postby bobtu » 16 Jun 2007 10:12

I,m using Vista, and I have never had a problem with the webcam ever since the new one was installed. So perhaps it,s not vista to blame!

It's something to do with the DEP settings but everytime I change them they go back to there default
