I've managed to get a week off at work, not sure if a week is long enough for icmeler, as we always go for 2.
Has anybody been to the algarve lately? How does it compare?, should i try algarve or will i be disapointed and wish i'd gone to icmeler.

Andy I love Portugal daughter was married to a portugese guy and I have spent many holidays both on the Algarve and round the Porto area but it is a no contest mate there is only one holiday resort when it comes to enjoying our vacation.
Only drawback is going for 7 days I always think it is a long way to travel,you need a day to recover and before long are thinking of coming back home.
Give Portugal a go it is nice and the beaches are fantastic.

Portugal no way as good as Icmeler...Went to Icmeler in may and decided to go to algarve in june...and we wished we had gone back to Icmeler!! but the beachs are amazing! x

Managed to get 2 weeks off so its definately icmeler, great choice i'm sure.

yeah, i agree portugal is great and i have been there a few times but wen it comes down to it icmeler is the best place to go, eveyone is sooo friendly and the whole atmosphere is great!
