Anyone in paradise 18/5 -24/5??

Postby geordie1970 » 11 Apr 2016 15:24

Hi All, just to ask if anyone is in hol between the above dates and fancies an ICR get together (Meal/Drinks) etc 1 night?

We had a great night with fellow ICR members year gone September in the Waterfall and drinks elsewhere

Was fantastic to meet fellow members who you chat with on here :D

Cheers

Fantastic Stevie! :D .. Well done and that's a canny set up if you can get away with it! .. Mrs G barely lets me out of her sight for a weekend away with the lads, never mind being in Icmeler by myself!

Roll on retirement ... And it MAY happen ...

Enjoy and keep an eye on this post if we can get the numbers for a night out

Im interested in a possible meet up for a meal and a few drinks, I have been going to turkey for a good while now, this will be my third time in icmeler, stayed in marmaris twice, and been to fethiye once, and bodrum once, I much prefer icmeler to marmaris, going to icmeler for a week 16th may, and fethiye/ovacik for 10 days on 6th June, didnt really like bodrum at all, been a little while since I have stayed in icmeler, but when I went to marmaris we spent alot of our time in icmeler, looking forward to going to meryem restaurant near the old town, food was amazing last time, and trying sidiks, had a meal in hanedan the last time we were there based on what people said, and was not impressed at all, I love turkish food and did not enjoy the food there.

If you like Turkish food, then I am sure you will love Meryem Yemek Evi. You could also try Nefis, Kardelen, Kayra, Cadde and Sofra.

Another Turkish Restaurant worth a try is Selam. Cyril and Turgay are excellent hosts and the food is delicious. It is a small restaurant and you may have to make a reservation.

I have already been to meryem before, shortly after it first opened, the food was amazing, I have heard a few people mention selem, will have to give that one a try, turkish food is fantastic, I love an iskender kebab, tried them from several places, but you cant beat the one from the crazy kebab shop in marmaris, its amazing!!!

Hi all, just to ask for definite numbers and any favourite place to book up?

Waterfall was where we had the last ICR meet, excellent food and a lovely setting

But open to ideas if anyone else has a preference?
