Season started

Hi all just wondered if the season has started yet and if so are there any changes worth noting, cannot wait till the 13th of may

One more sleep then off to Paradise for two weeks.I will post an update over the weekend when we have had a cycle round town and sampled a few Efes.

The season "officially" starts in May, but places do start to open throughout April and there is already a lot of work going on to get the hotels, apartments, bars and restaurants up and running.

Thanks for the replies I'm aware the season officially starts in may but just getting excited so just wondered if anyone had any early updates to all going soon have a great time

Kardelen has reopened (opposite what was the big Tansas but is now Migros). What was Aysima, just down from the Tandoori Sizzler heading towards the beach, is reopening soon as Cheers bar - think it is a couple of the lads from the Irish Bar who are taking it over.

We had the unfortunate experience of trying the Restaurant last year and what a disgrace! Food was atrocious and was the worst we've ever had! .. Mrs G was getting so much hassle a day or so later to go back again that we had to get 'local' friends involved, who quickly got rid of the weasel on the front of house for us and we never seen him again

We all have different opinions and that is a good thing. Been in Aysima a few times and enjoyed it food and service were very good. As for Irsih Bar would not go in there if you paid me so dont have high hopes for the new Cheers. Others of course love the Irish Bar so maybe it will turn out to be a decent bar, either way I hope that ALL in Icmeler have a good season

I can't comment on Aysima as I never ate there - I do recall sitting in Harry's Steakhouse across the road one night as one woman absolutely murdered the karaoke in there though! I'm with smc when it comes to the Irish Bar though - not my cup of tea.
