2016 - live entertainment

I believe that more live music and or other types of entertainment would enhance people's enjoyment and perhaps bring in more revenue.

I would be happy to pay a higher beer / drinks rate or a cover charge to see some music in a sound proofed venue that did not disturb residents or other venues.

Cabaret or music - no preferences, buy please get away from the dancing waiters, flashing robots, miming Michael Jacksons and crap rap thumping row that emits from what Turks believe is what we want to hear.

The resort needs a boost - Tiki bar had a twice weekly resident band and was full two years ago, nothing last year and mostly empty. They also held local salsa nights which were stunning to watch - really good quality dancers showing off real talents and good music to dance and listen to as well.

Coming back in May, but could be looking for alternatives in September - don't want the wife to be bored at night and ready to come home after 7 days ! Love the daily sun, but need more at night, please.

So, if you go early and find live entertainment, please let us know on here so we don't spend days wandering round looking !

Not sure about Icmeler and where will have "live" music this year as too soon to know but I know that along the beachfront in Marmaris every night last year there was live music as I sat and watched and listened most nights

Not exactly what you are looking for I think, but the Three Bells has karaoke most nights and nearby Sonys has a quiz night every Wednesday.

No, there's already plenty of places doing karaoke and a few quiz nights, but I think people would appreciate more proper live music. The Deniz Kapisi had a guy playing live some nights during the week last season, so hopefully they might be doing that again this year.

I would like to see music acts something similar as to what you get in Spain. Some are terrible but there are also plenty good ones out. In the main this will be "English"acts so very unlikely they would be able to work in Icmeler

down on the marina cant remember the name of the place but its upstairs above the shops we saw some great live music acts.If you ask down there they will tell you where the live entertainment is on.Also there are a few bars in Turunc that have entertainment.

we came back last year after a gap we loved it but i agree i wished we could have seen live entertainment their was a bar on the front woman singing but she sang 2 songs and went we mostly went to wonderbar and canary bar .were back in july will have a walk into mamaris see what acts are on their want to find the bar that does the salsa dancing

The salsa dancing demo was by young locals from a dance club, and was every Sunday at the Tiki Beach bar according to the bar ads - we saw them two weeks running early season but not in late September on our return.
