Storms

Well..yesterday afternoon we had the mother of all storms..thunder, lightening..torrential rain. Cleared up in the evening.
Today we had wall to wall sunshine..then at around 5:30pm it started again. Still lashing down with rain. Trying to work out how to get out for evening meal, without getting soaking wet. Plastic carrier bag now made into a rain hat, looks naff but at least my hair will be dry, lol

Yes heard about the storms Mansy, hopefully its not affecting your enjoyment too much.

However I suppose its the risk we take going so late in the season, I fly out on 1st October.

Same thing last year - but very hot afterwards each time it rained.

Luckily we eat in our hotel on a half board basis, but we do like to wander around for beers, late night browsing / shopping and entertainment, so hopeful of it all blowing over before Saturday evening when we land in the resort at 10pm'ish.

We did discover the superb cafe on the hill, above the helipad concrete going out to Marmaris, when it rained last year, so not totally useless - we go up after sunbathing most days, it's a bit of easy exercise after lying down or lazy swimming all day, and we can look over the bay and see all of the boats returning to base over coffees and beer.

God, is it Saturday yet ?????????????????? Hurry up you last 4 days !!

Been worried by recent weather forecast for Icmeler. OH checks it every day(obsessed!) We fly out on Monday. Must say we have been in late October a few years ago and weather was great all week.Fingers crossed!

Arrived home early hours of this morning.
What a week, weather VERY mixed.
However, it didn't stop us having a great time.

All I can say is...roll on June 2016, lol

Last day of 2 weeks tomorrow and the storms didn't affect us too much. I would suggest going to Poundland for a couple of rain ponchos just in case.

Really hot , and met some great hotel occupants , now friends, at Ercanhan Hotel
