Advice please

Hi all
Can anyone shed any light on the new passport law we done our evisas this morning and it all went through no bother then I read a web site that said you need 60 days on your passport at the time your evisa expires we arrive 27th July for 2 weeks but our evisas don't expire until 22nd of jan and my sons passport expires on the 11th of feb thomsons say we should be ok as his passport has 6 months remaining on entry to Turkey but some are saying he won't be allowed entry any help please

This is the official UK Government guidance when it comes to passports and visas:
Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry into Turkey.
From 1 January 2015, when you enter Turkey your passport must also have at least 60 days (approx 2 months) validity beyond the expiry date of your visa or residence permit.

Looks like I need to get him a new passport does anyone know if I'll be able to use the visa I bought or will I need to buy another with the new passports number on seems a bit strange that the application went through with the dates not adding up

Unfortunately, you will need to buy another visa as the passport number has to match and your new passport will have a different number
