Does anyone know if it is possible to make trip to Datca on public transport and how long it takes or are there organised trips to do this ?

Hiya

I have asked a friend about this and she says you can get there by a bus which leaves from the bus station every hour or so. To get to the bus station you get on the green bus and tell the driver thats where you want and he will tell you when you get there oif you dont know where it is.

oh i did forget to say that the journey takes between 1.5 to 2 hours long depending on how fast the driver goes!

We have been to Datca several times and purchased our ticket from one of the Icmeler bus offices who collected us and took us to Marmaris for the bus to Datca.

I am fairly sure ICR do a daytrip to Datca on a Saturday (market day) and I would say Datca is certainly worth a visit.

Definately worth a visit - went with Diane & Norman last year and thought it beautiful
