Thank you JT for advising on what great value the turkish airlines are just booked my flight from Gatwick to dalaman via Istanbul with a short stopover for only £217 for 13 nights, 23 kg luggage allowance and meal and drinks included. Also managed too book my favourite apartments Sun Village.
I owe you a very large drink for saving me over £128 as the cheapest flight was with Thomas cook

Sounds like a good deal - big fan of Turkish Airlines, great service and the meals are among the best I've had on a flight.

When you say a stopover it looks like you are there for the night and not the 2 hours that you really are.

That 2 hours soon goes though by the time you do the passport and visa check and walk through, then its time to board the other plane for a 40 minute flight to Dalaman

Don't know how you managed to find time to search for those flights as you and ramifications are always out bike riding, playing darts having a party at the office. Anyone would think you are on your holidays
