I am in Icmeler at the moment although can't give you the temperature but all I can say is it is really hot. Over the past few days a wind has got up around lunch time and has been quite strong. It can be very welcome as it cools you down.

It rained on Monday afternoon for about 15mins and it was just very light drizzle. Not enough to wet the ground.

Its been 41c today and blue sky.

I know Geordie1970 its madness.

It was shocking enough that it rained when I was there in June but I understand the Med in general has seen more rain this year than normal.

Been talking to some locals over the weekend and the subject of weather in October came up.

They said they're expecting a prolonged summer into late October as May was so bad this year - lets hope so for those travelling late in the season

Not a live update but just back early this morning after 3 weeks, there was drizzle on sunday 20th july evening, I remember it as it was my birthday but it stopped as quick as it started, it was cloudy this Thursday morning which dropped the temp a bit but mainly it has been scorchio!!! :) according to the temps on the board outside the exchange centre in the centre it wasn't dropping below 30/31 at midnight so you can imagine daytime temperatures

Hope you had a great time Daisysun!

5 weeks Friday for our 2nd visit this year .... Can't wait and I'll be happy if it's in the 30's through the day and not too nippy on an evening :D

Our 2nd yearly visit late last September had good weather and only the 1 Monsoon 1 evening and a few clouds the odd day
