It can be a bit mixed - especially towards the end of the month. We have been at that time of year and had lovely warm weather - then one year it rained almost the entire week! You may find it a bit cooler in the evenings too - and just be aware that places start to close down during October, although you will still find plenty to do.

Very few children of school age - blissful !!

Last October we had one really wet day, but the chance to walk around without scorching ourselves led to finding a wonderful hillside cafe on the walkway to Marmaris - lovely view over the bay at dusk !!

Coffee and beers are excellent and good value as well !! - the one with the wooden balcony and a concrete pier below it - don't remember the name !

Just shows you can still find new things to do and see without the heat of the day !

Absolutely, Acko - weather aside, I think it's a lovely time to visit because you do see the resort in a different light and explore more when it is quieter like that.

Acko - I think you're referring to the Cafe Del Mar? Love it there. We always spend our first day there getting aclimatised to the Efes   You should try the one on the main road for the "real" view of Icmeler (soz, don't remember it's name!) - it is stunning!! We ventured the walk last year and it is well worth the hike!

What ever the weather it will be better than the uk, and you'll be away from everyday life.
Take the gamble, I'm sure it'll be worth it!

I'm going in October this year for the first time, I normally go September so will take the weather as it comes.

I'm expecting the evenings to be chilli so cardys will be packed.
