I agree its a great bar, all the staff make you feel very welcome. Our family have been going to this bar for many years, everyone makes a big effort to say hello, except the boss Tekin who has never even raised a smile. We go to Icmeler and the karaoke bar at least 3 times a year, good job the rest of the staff are as friendly as they are to compensate!!

I can't belive it . Cengiz told my nan and grandad he had a wife but we never belived him as he is always after my sister and he just laughed when we brought a 'wife' up We speak to him now in Turkey He appears to be very single and very bored at the moment! Well who knows? who cares? Hope he hasn't . thats not right!

Does anyone know if Deniz Kapisi have a website? If so what's the website address?

Thanks

Scottishbabe.

Maybe other Turkey forums will allow you to slander and name the boys who work in the resort but we will not stand for it on this forum.

If this persists then your ip address will be banned from this forum.

When in Turkey Try Turkish

Postby redrhino12 » 23 Jan 2005 14:46

Hope you dont mind me answering this one as well Rami.
Ronaldo,Leon and Marcus who I befriended when they worked at Deniz Kapisi asked me to have Sunday lunch there.(they now work at the Alvaro)
In actual fact the meal was rather dissapointing, lettuce was no substitute for the lack of vegatables on the plate.
Still friends with the three boys though so no damage done.
Now if you want a proper Sunday lunch either stay at home in England or go to The Famous Kitchen,

the food was ok nothing to shout about have not really ate out in icmeler as we usually stay in marmaris, found the food in deniz kapisi to be really good and they also provide a service which we used 3 times last year of picking us up in marmaris at night and dropping us back to our apart at the end of the night

I found the food a little dissapointing last summer compared to previous times.(evening time) The fish was dry and the fries were done to death (no, we didn't just have fish n chips!) but the service was still faultless.

If you were looking at the sea it is to the right on the promenade past the Munamar hotel near were the Dolmus rank is.
It is near the Golmar and Mar Bas Hotels and next door to Harmony Fun Bar.

Deniz Capazi

This bar is the greatest, supurb staff and great owner karaoke has all the latest tunes and the nightly shows are un-missable.

The entertainment is second 2 none and my daughter would not spend her evenings anywhere else.

The "Boys" Leon, Ronaldo and co were great whilst at the Deniz, and we still go to see them at the Alvaro where the drink is good!!!

Cant wait until August 8th to be back there and soak up the sun.

See you all there!!

The Deniz I dont think is as good as it was 2 or 3 years ago.
Leon and Marcos have moved to the Alvaro and Ronaldo is over here in Britain with his wife and baby.

The Kapisi is the dearest bar in Icmeler, but this year is trying to get back to its old Karakoe format when it was the best bar in Icmeler.

Went in a couple of times in May and saw some great singers well worth a visit.

3.5ytl at the Venice for large Effes
5ytl at Kapisi in the evening but if you were to have it delivered to your sunbed during the day they were charging 6ytl.

I do think they are way over the top with the prices,in fact on the drinks list large Effes is priced at 6ytl,so this could be the summer price.

You can still get bars charging 3ytl for large Effes

Dreamboys is also 3.5ytl for large Effes
