There been talk of the Turkish Government holding back lira so as to drop inflation.
Hopefully JT might be able to shed some light on it.

It was 3.43 in Jimmys Asda Supermarket yesterday when we popped in for some Efes... And I usually find his rate as good if not better at times than anywhere else.

Yes, there does seem to be a shortage of lira here in the UK at the moment - have heard lots of reports of people having difficulty getting any. You could just wait and change your money in the resort as you will get a better rate there anyway - currently around 3.45

Chris, can you do me a favour and send it again? Only just realised I had an old email address which is no longer on use linked to my profile here, but have been on to JT to get him to sort it out for me! Thanks...

Anymore 'live' figures from the resort? ... 5 weeks today until we arrive and with the shortage of Lira etc it would be good to know if we're better off just taking English to change? ... Cheers

I'm not there yet, Geordie - but I've been keeping up to date with those who are out there just now, and the rates they're getting.
