80 sleeps ..... But more importantly only the 81 days, 1 hour and 10 minutes until we hit the sky from the Toon! .. Whilst still wiping my traditional Burger King from my scruffy face!

... I'm like a kid with Mrs G once on board ..... 'Are we nearly there yet??' ... Then 5 mins later 'Are we nearly there yet??' ... Etc etc

Cases in the boot, check, passports, tickets, money, evisa, check, dog delivered to my sons house, check, airport, check in, pick up my duty free whiskey, double check, get a magazine or 2, board the plane, take off.

I've just lived that journey and a huge grin came on my face.

Im like that my holiday starts as soon as we get up in the morning, i just love the whole experience (including the odd bit of stress and panic - all part of it especially with kids) Our flight is at 3.45pm from Newcastle but my holiday starts as soon as we open our eyes in the morning, especially this year as wefly on my sons birthday so double celebration this year

But 11 weeks tonight we'll have that horrible wait for our Suitcases ... Will we be last again this year??
