been reading lots of bad reports from the Wembley bar has Rodney left as Im hearing its very dirty in the kitchen and nobody has anything good to say about it on a couple of forums. I would find that hard to believe if Rodney or Eddie still worked there.

Haven't heard that either Eddie or Rodney won't be there this year - we've only ever had breakfast in the Wembley (oh, and takeaway sandwiches for the airport too!) but everything has always been very good and the place looked clean when we were there last year. Can't really say I've seen any bad reviews about it though...

Where did you read about the bad reviews, most things I have heard have been positive. The bar has probably been closed for the past 5 months or so as it is off season

I have been going into Wembley Bar for a good few years and it has always been clean, as for anyone saying bad things I cant understand why, Eddie and Rodney are two of the most loveliest guys you could meet and the staff they have had have been the same. I have never seen any bad reviews for there in any forums I have been on, only good reviews. As smc4761 said the bar has been closed since the end of last season and I expect will get a good clean before the star of this season.

I have also read these posts on another forum and I agree with all the posts on here. I have eaten in Wembley Bar many times and never had any cause for concern about standards of cleanliness. None of us have suffered any ill effects and I always gauge the standard of a place by the cleanliness of toilets and they too have met with my satisfaction. I accept that people may have had a different experience but over the years it certainly has not been mine and I will be visiting again this year.

Never heard any bad things last year and I always had a welcome hello as I passed

I think I will leave this on anyway as bar was closed 5 months since this 1st posting of this new member

We ate there quite often and always had a drink there on our way home to sun village apartments always clean and staff never hassle you, passed kitchen a lot and found it spotless.

Both Rodney & Eddie were there until the end when they closed last year & we always enjoyed their company & the food they served, absolutely NO COMPLAINTS !! However there was talk of Eddie going to university so I don't know how this might effect their partnership but they did say they would be at the Wembley in 2014.

Can only concur with the previous posts. We've eaten at the Wembley several times and never had an issue with quality or cleanliness.

Hoping that the guys will be there again when we visit in June.

Food was always good here , never had any problems and it was always busy. Will be revisiting again in June and September .

Rodneys facebook page says :- 'Former Employer at Wembley Restaurant & Bar'...make of that what you will.

I hope he is still there for our trip this year.

Eddie is back running the Wembley but Rodney is doing his military spell in the army although he says he will visit sometime in June. Eddie's already posting photos on Facebook.

Just got from ICelmer and we ate several times at the wembley bar had lovely meals and great atmosphere Rodney is in the army but Eddie,Martin,Albert and all the team are still there We enjoyed steaks,fish and their fablous.chiken set meals.All our meals were hot and never had any complaints about clenliness.We will be returning in June and are looking forward to seeing them all and having some good food and drinks.

We were in the Wembley bar last week and was talking to Eddie about Rodney being in the Army,i think he finishes next February,but he is back in June for three weeks,we had a nice big breakfast there also a few beers at night,we will also be going there when we go back in September,some friends we met there went to the bar and the husband had a T bone steak and he said he will be going back having another one before he comes home.
