Steady on there lad. Separate holidays ?

Have you been Egypt before ? We went for our 25th wedding anniversary. We did a week on the Nile cruise & the temples & tombs, the second week in Luxor then on to Cairo for the pyramids. Or were you thinking more relaxed beach type thing ?

..... Luckily Mrs G doesn't read these or I'd be kicked all over for mentioning separate hols! Lol

Regarding Egypt bit of both really .... Beach, relax, sun, but Pyramids via Plane from Sharm ... Heard it's a 12hr bus journey through the night if not!

But we'll see ... As I fancy a Greek Island or Cyprus more ... But icmeler again? Who knows!! :D

Geordie1970, Just think, if you didn't go on holiday to Icmeler you would have never "met" any of the lovely people on this forum. Or just missed meeting them

Did I mention that 11 weeks tonight I'll be in VENICE resturant, Icmeler, by the canal having my first vodka diet coke !!

it would be lovely to have icmelers weather here wouldn't it, but yes... then again.. total different way of life over there. While we were there last time we met a bloke who had moved out there who was from South Shields and said it was the best thing he had ever done. Who can blame him eh? Mind you we have got a nice coast line and countryside... but there it stops lol

Daisysun I hope I'm that bloke from South Shields in 15 years or so if not sooner! ... I'd go now if I had my way and find something work wise over there and take a chance, after all we only live once and why not get out of the Rat race over here??

But Mrs G is the 'sensible' one in our relationship and won't let me! Lol  ... So it's holiday only for now!

totally agree with you, me and my husband keep saying that if we came into some money thats what we would do as like you say we only live once and i would hate to get too old and it be too late and have the regret that we never even tried.
