air con and safe costs

Postby daisysun » 12 Jan 2014 21:18

I have posted this question on trip advisor but have not had a reply so if someone knows here it would be great to find out. We are just wondering if anyone knows how much the air con and safe are each per week at the Oren apartments? We are staying for 3 weeks in July so will def need them. Also does anyone know of anywhere in Icmeler we could buy a fan for our room? Purely because you can move a fan from room to room where as air con tends to be just in one room, we would just leave this behind at the end of the hole. Than you in advance.

Can't help with those apartment but expect to bat about £5 a day for aircon and upto £20 per week for a safe. Our apartments last year were £30 per week aircon and £10 a week safe, but places do vary.

Regarding a fan some apartments charge you for using your own as you are using extra electricity, I know the Moonlight apartments started charging £15 per week which was the same price of hiring one from them, however I negotiated and gave them a litre of Gordons gin instead to cover the two weeks.

Last year people in our apartments bought a fan from an electrical shop along from Wembley Bar. The shop is between Wembley Bar and Dejavu restaurant - sorry don't know the name of the road.

Daisysun, this is purely my opinion but i think fans are a waste of time as they just circulate warm air around the room.
I would not bother with one myself , just go for the air con.

But I found that they are good for circulating the colder air from the bedroom to the lounge where the kids sleep. Last year we didn't need one as the apartment layout was straight through with no corridors or corners but in the past when we have had a small corridor it worked well.

Yeah that was my idea as air con only tends to be in one room and i struggle during the night plus we have children in a different room
