I'm afraid to tell you that most of the reviews you've read are probably wrong... The Alvaro is actually better :D

Depending when you're going you shouldn't have too much trouble finding suitable sun loungers, but I'm willing to bet after a few days (hours?) you'll just be having fun with Eddie and crew and this will be the last thing on your minds. How many people do you know have their own fan club on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/25236173916? We normally stay on the ground floor, so as I recall the balconies don't get that much sun, though that makes them lovely to relax on.

We've not booked yet but hope to be out next May (and maybe late August as well :D) so may well see you there. Either way I hope you all have a great time, and have every confidence you will!

- Paul.

P.S. If you have any other questions (about Alvaro or Icmeler in general) feel free to ask... our daughter is 12 as well, so hopefully we can help!

Hi Paul
Is the Alvaro suitable for wheelchairs? Are there ground floor apartments, are there many steps? The apartments we stay at is ideal for us but unfortunately they intend to double the number of apartments during the winter months without making any changes to the restaurant, pool etc. So we now need to make a list of possibles to have a look at next summer.

There are definitely ground floor apartments, as that's where we normally stay, and I can't think of any steps around the place. I don't think any of the ground floor rooms are converted for disabled use, though, if that's an issue.

Hope that helps,
Paul.

Thanks for your quick reply. We'll definitely have a look at the Alvaro next year as we don't have to have adapted apartments.

Dundee John i will make this short and sweet.
You have hit the jackpot in my opinion booking the Alvaro with a youngster in tow.
Odds are it wont be your only holiday there.
Enjoy.

I've never noticed any issues with the shower temperature, so can't help there, and I'm pretty sure all the rooms have a balcony (or fenced area on the ground floor) that overlooks the pool.

Hope that helps,
Paul.
