sun village 2br apartments

Postby pip » 24 Sep 2013 15:01

hi everyone,

little info please,
I have stayed in the 1 bedroom apartments at the sun village before and they were great but am looking at returning next year :D and would need a 2bedroom apartment,
has anyone stayed in these before?
Are they a good size and do they have balconies? again are these balconies a good size like the 1 bedroom ones? There would be 3 adults and 1 4yr old in total, ( mam, dad, son and grandma) just don't want to feel cramped as we all like a bit of space.

any help or pics would be great thanks

cheers pip

The two-bedroom apartments at the Sun Village are up in the attic at the moment and I believe they could be a bit cramped, especially for taller people. However, I am led to believe that they may be changing that for next year to improve them and make them more spacious. Perhaps JT might be able to shed more light on this...

Hi Pip

One of the bedrooms has a low ceiling as you walk into the room but then opens out and the other is normal and large

It is actually a large room but as they are on the top floor it is not a balcony with bars and you cant look down to the pool but the views to the mountains and countryside are great

Oh and you also get a balcony off one of the bedrooms so no need for air con, just leave both doors open for a breeze

I stayed in room 401 which is a two bedroomed apartment .

The balcony off the main living room is a good size and you can just about see the edge of the pool. The views of the mountains and the surrounding area are fantastic. The balcony off the main bedroom is smaller and has the aircon unit on it so if you have the aircon on it blows warm air at you.

The main living room is not a bad size and has sloping ceilings to one side.
The entrance and hall way are spacious with a large mirror on the wall.
The second bedroom is very small and only sleeps one so we had to put someone in the main living area, which defeated the object of booking a two bedroomed apartment. You can only stand up in the doorway or the window area.
The aircon is only in the main bedroom and dose not go anywhere else in the apartment, the small bedroom gets very hot and we needed a fan.
The room is on the top floor and there is 48 steps up to it that are sort of spiral.
The rooms are very dimly lit so when it starts to get dark the lighting is very poor.(Had to actually buy my own bulbs as they was five missing)

I'll see if i can sort some photo's out. I have some of the balcony and main bedroom.
