Hi everyone, Just registered so new to all this. Ive been checking out this site ( and very impressed with it ) since i went to icmeler for the first time last year. Today i took the plunge and booked my hols for this year through ICR. August 26th for 2 weeks at the ustun apts. For anyone like me who normally books through travel agents, i would say forget paying their bumped up prices and get a quote off ICR. It took me 5 mins and boy what a great price i got. Just under £300 each. (sorry if im not meant to put prices) John beats any of your high street travel agents anyday. Thanks John. :)

Welcome one and all!
Hope you enjoy the forum - it's got to be the best place to come and talk Icmeler, and the members are such nice people!

Sandy - I'm a fellow Devonian - I'm just up the road in Exeter and looking forward to escaping the tourist season here for a week when I go to Icmeler in May!

Hello everyone,I stumbled on to this site 2 days ago and I am really glad I did.We havent been to Turkey before so we don't know what to expect when we go to Icmeler on 15th April. My mind is at ease now after reading the posts on here, can't wait to go.One thing I would like to ask is what are the Turkish ciggies like and do they sell hand rolling tobacco.

Most of the English brands are sold under the counter and they're all fake. The Turkish Tekel brand isn't too bad. There are duty free shops in the arrival lounge at the airport and you can buy English cigs and tobacco there at very good prices.

Hi Mazz,

Hi Sandy

Yes it is a shame we're not going at the same time, or we could have met up for a drink! Where are you staying? I'm at the Lighthouse apartments (above the Lighthouse restaurant, they were built last year).

The weather in Exeter has been fantastic - but it's not quite Icmeler is it!!!

Hope you have a fab time in Icmeler, I should think you'll notice a few changes, I'll try not to drink the place dry!
