There are quite a few really nice restaurants in the village but in our opinion after 4 years of visiting we love Sidiks it is run by a lovely family and the food is excellent and reasonable prices. Another little gem to try would be Cafe Rose, the food is very good and great prices, and the setting is lovely you actually sit and eat in the garden of the owners house, which with the greenery overhead provides a great place for a bit of shade and looks like a little enchanted garden.

You may be better asking this question in the main holiday forum and not the review section, you will get more answers to your query.

Tommy's bar is one of my favorites (and literally a 2 minute walk from our hotel so easy to crawl back after one-too-many Efe's lol)

We stayed in the old village from 7th - 21st June & had many lovely meals in the restaurants there. Our first visit was to Captain Sinbads (up near the mosque) We had bread & meze, I had Sirloin steak which was cooked exactly to my request, my husband had a mixed grill which he said was gorgeous, 2 beers & 2 Disaronu liquers = 78 lira I think that was a reasonable price for the lovely food we had. Excellent presentation too.
.
We also went to Wembley Bar. Bread & Meze, I had a peppered steak (perfect) Hubby had peppered chicken (perfect) both of us had apple crumble & custard. 2 beers = 66 lira

We went to Sidik's one night. Bread & Meze, I had a steak & home made chips, hubby had a Special Sheesh Kebab, 2 beers & 2 Turkish brandies = 104 lira, slightly more expensive than some other places but the food was fantastic.

We enjoyed most meals everywhere we went & all reasonably priced but I have to say we were a bit disappointed in Tommy's as we had heard such great reviews. Just didn't enjoy the food as much as we thought we would and there didn't seem to be a happy atmosphere like there was in the other places we went to. Maybe it was just us & perhaps everyone else will enjoy it, but not for us I'm afraid.

Hope you have a great time in Icmeler, we loved every minute of it.

Agree with previous posts about Sidik's.Great food, very welcoming and friendly.Have to say though would recommend Tommy's for English breakfast.Delicious and very well cooked every time! Other meals we tried there(including Sunday lunch)not so good, but friendly atmosphere.

Another vote for Sidik's, great food and a lovely family and I would place Sinbad's not too far behind it.

Yes, definitely Sidiks......they make you so welcome, take the time to chat with you.

I have eaten there quite a few times and each time the food and service have been EXCELLENT.
I certainly dont mind paying that little bit extra for a guaranteed perfect meal and enjoyable evening :-)

Hmm, have to say we found Sidiks' prices to be pretty much on a par with other places - suppose it all depends what you have to eat and drink though. Certainly was by no means the most expensive meal we had, nor the cheapest.
