Hi, anyone ever stayed at Kurt Apartments, I'm coming to Icmeler in September with the family including children and would love to know what the hotel is like. Thanks

Kurt apts are lovely but a wee bit out of the way. Only problem that I had was with the son who is very rude to people if they don't spend their money in his bar/ restaurant. The pool is big and spotlessly clean. Hope you have a good time :D

We stayed there last Sept, the apartments and pool/bar area is lovely. The food is nice and reasonably priced. The Son did try to get us on trips, Turkish night etc, but a polite no thanks was fine and he didn't hassle.

On a personal note though I wouldn't return to these apartments because of Father Kurt. Reason being is that my Husband had been in hospital for 2 days, I had just returned from visiting him and the Son called me to take a phone call from the hospital. It turns out my Husband had been taken into intensive care. I sat down on the office chair very upset, the Father then proceeded to tell me he had undercharged me 8 lira on my last bill. I just found this to be extremely insensitive at the time when I was obviously upset.

Am an Icmeler fan and these apts area defo yes from me. Pool is great, apartments clean and spacious. Great chef last year and father kurt is a great guy, the son can be a pain but as per previous a polite no generally puts him back in his place. Happy hols.

Thanks, this will be my 3rd time in Icmeler, so I know how it all works, just wanted to know how pushy the hotel staff are to make you stay in the hotel to eat and drink. I don't think anybody goes to Icmeler to stay in the hotel every night! Too many restaurants and bars to go to. But then ya have to keep the hotel sweet by buying drinks etc during the day, just so they don't get too upset and stop cleaning room, towel and sheets etc, which I have read about on here! Sounds like an ok place so very much looking forward to it.

Hi, we stayed in the Kurt apartments last year July/August we are a family of 4, and found it excellent we didn't receive any hassle from the kurts at all but we were eating breakfast there nearly every morning and drinks and ice creams during the day ( breakfast was great by the way 8TYL) I think if you are fair and spend a little of your money there they will be more than happy with this.
The room was basic but spacious enough and clean, the pool was great and very clean, no need to put out towels as there was more than enough beds even though every room was occupied.
There was a good relaxing atmosphere with a good mix of familes, couples brits dutch.
Overall we had a great stay and would have returned this year if we hadn't got a good deal to stay at the Kleopatra, nice quiet area a little walk to the town and beach 10 to 15 mins but pleasant enough we usually walked to town and got taxi back 10TYL.
PS we leave for Icmeler in the morning 15 July so nearly there now! can't wait.
regards Chris
