That is what is says on the page ive got !
If so, thats lots more ! :-(

Make sure you go to the government official site, other sites have popped up already that buy the visa on your behalf and charge you a premium.

I sounds good but there will be 10 of us so it would be like paying an extra £30 thats 3 extra Visa's will give it a miss unless the $ dips.

When applying for a e-Visa it asks for your mothers name, do they mean her married name or maiden name?

Thanks :?

Maiden Name, did ours yesterday, it's a bit of a faff when you have to do them all individually but all done. Fully expect to get to Dalaman now and find no-one queuing at Visa desk and everyone queuing at Passport Control now

Can anyone who has been recently let me know what the queues were like (Particularly Mondays between 2.30pm and 3.30pm), still haven't made up my mind to pay the extra for 11 visa's or queue and hopefully not wait for the luggage.

I was like that Dave but decided to pay my £10 at Dalaman.

I arrived on a Tuesday at 10pm along with 2 other flights, queued maybe 10 mins for visa and 10 mins at passport control. I waited longer for my luggage to come through on the carousel lol.

I was lucky though as I was one of the first off the plane and as I was queuing at visa noticed the queue was from the desks all along the terminal so anyone off last would have had a longer wait than me but while I was waiting for my luggage there was a fair few people around.

Thanks Alison,

Do you remember how many visa desks were open.

We are in rows 2 & 3 on our plane but the doors are behind us at Row 9 I think so hopefully will be one of the first 50 off,

For the last few weeks I have noted that 7 planes land between 14:00 and 15:00, we are due to land at 14:50, looking at the planes and seating plans that's 1705 people to be processed in that hour however our flight have averaged being 13 minutes head of schedule so we may be lucky and beat another plane in to reduce the queue.

Currently I think I will risk it and purchase there but reserve the right to change my mind.

There were only two people doing the visas, it was basically hold your passport to them showing a blank page and they stuck the sticker on, so the queue was moving quickly. And there were eight people on passport control.

I was on row 4 and they opened the door just behind me for people to get off, it was a large plane an airbus a330 I think
