Hi all, hopefully we'll be there in a few days but I've noticed the BBC weather page is showing thundersorms in Marmaris for the next few days. Is it really that bad out there at the moment?

When I was there in May I found that the BBC was the best place to see what the weather was NOT going to be like

No different to the BBC predictions for this country then

Looking at a few different weather sites they forecast a slight chance of a shower on Thursday, a little cloud on Friday and then clear all next week. Still the temperatures are beginning to look like summer temps now, climbing into the mid to high 20's (remember weather sites always state temperature in the shade - not in direct sunlight like the ones dotted around Icmeler are)

Either way, I'd still rather be there than here lol (roll on 29th July)

So glad you said that about the BBC site, I just checked and thought 'oh no' not thunder storms as I am flying out Thursday and want some lovely hot weather to get rid of my awful cold I've now got.

Haven't ventured away from the pool today to get a temperature reading but definitely the hottest day we've had so far. No clouds in the sky. I'm guessing about 36

I may have under estimated yesterdays temperature although today is definitely hotter - 47 degrees at the change office near the square!

9pm - the square says 32 degrees, change office 33. Had to stop off in romance for a cocktail or 6 to cool down

Come on now, where's the daily update? Can be from anyone, just would like to know what to expect next week. Arriving Thursday and considering it was about 38 in the shade some days last month, I would like to know I'm gonna be getting the same!!

I have never ever seen clouds in the sky in the Marmaris/Icmeler area this late in July
