pushchairs

Postby jeffg » 16 Apr 2013 11:18

Just wondering if there is anywhere to hire pushchairs in Icmeler year before last we had our grand kids with us and we thought the we would only need one for the youngest but it transpired that the second youngest wanted one, so we had to go to Marmaris and buy one so rather than bring one this year was wondering if there is any for hire.
If we do have to bring one is it counted as part of the travel allowance. jeff

You can hire them at http://www.marmarisrentals.co.uk/buggy_ ... r_rent.php

Regarding are they part of your allowance, when my kids were young they were not part of the allowance but I recommend checking with your airline,

If the children are small and require a pushchair then it goes on the plane for free and is not part of your allowance - has to be a fold down one tho. Each child will be allowed his/her own pushchair. Best check with the airline tho is the child is a bit older as they may not class the child as needing one - ie a 4/5 year old doesn't really need one. My eldest is 10 now but went to Icmeler when he was 4 - we were allowed a pushchair without extra charge but some airlines may be different.

We take a pushchair with us for our grandchildren. Airlines vary, some allow you to take only one item whilst another will allow you to take more, so that you can take a pushchair and a car seat. Make sure a sticker goes on each item individually at check-in, as they sometimes forget.

If you hire one though, make sure it's a reputable company. I saw one advertised a couple of years back and I wouldn't have let the children push a doll in it, let alone sit in it.
