We have been going in early May for the last 6 years. Everything is open its just a bit quieter than August! I know a number of people who are going in May this year. I will be there from the end of next week onwards. I think a few places will be open from April from what I have heard so no problems in May. It's a good time to be there.

Lots of bars are open in April.
"The Dream" used to be called "The Dream 3 Bells" opens their doors on the 15th April.
So you will have plenty of choice.

We always go May and October - weather lovely but can be a little cooler in the evening. Going 14th May this year. Not decided October or late Sept. dates yet.

We're going out on May 12 and I'm confident that all my favourite "watering holes" will be open
