We went 5th to the 15th May this year and it seemed much hotter than the late Sept. that we normally go. Certainly was warmer at night tho I think that just might have been a bit of a heatwave.

Hi
I've been in May several times and love it that time of year. It's usually nice and warm although you can get the odd storm. But on the whole it is a fab time of year to visit :-)

Ithink this is the best time of year to visit and have been going for about 10 years at this time. Weather wise it is typically arounf 25--30 during the day but can be a cool at night, sometimes a cardi would be needed

As it is the start of the season everything is fresh, the waiters and bar staff still have plenty of enthusiasm. Plenty of flowers are in bloom and it just looks lovely

I went in May previously, I think it was the 5th. It did rain nearly everyday but it was so light you could still lay out in the morning when the sun was shining and warm and then go for a walk when the rain started. Or go sit in a bar! :D
I have planned for May 18th next year which is later than before so hoping I miss the rain this time. I'm even contemplating trying to come even earlier to see what the resort is like, even if it does rain!!

We have been last 2 weeks in may and last sept 1st oct, and weather very similar in both, can get odd day of rain in either, ideal time to go , cant handle the heat in july august anymore.

This will be a great time to go. I'll have been there a couple of days when you arrive, I also can't wait.

I went 4th May this year for a fortnight and again in late Sept/Oct. The second week of May had quite a few showers with only a couple in October. As smc4761 said the resort looked lovely and fresh, but when I went back in October there were more places open than in May. Having said that, I can't imagine Icmeler ever looking less than gorgeous! :D

Another difference was the locals were far more enthusiastic in May - by Sept/October I got no hassle at all! One of the guys from Cafe Del Mar said it's because everyone's that tired and weary by the end of the season that they don't have the energy to hassle
