well after a lovely week in icmeler we are just sat in tin tins having our last effes before the transfer bus comes it is very quiet now with just a handful of places open the sun is shining and its nice and warm dreading coming back to a cold uk. will have to wait now until july for our next fix

Must be quite nice in a way to see Icmeler at this stage of the season. We've been mid to late October when places are starting to close, but I've always thought it would be quite interesting to see the resort when almost everything is shut up.

We did the last week a few years ago, and LOVED it
It made coming home that bit easier knowing that we'd seen everywhere close and the beach being emptied of sunbeds - they kindly left 4 on there just for us hahaha
It was funny though that every morning when we went out, we'd either spot somewhere we fancied for our evening meal, or be "hassled" to go somewhere to eat. But .......... by the time we were out at night, the places had shut, been emptied and had cars parked in them

Have to say we were very lucky with the weather and it was bizarre spending the evening in the Venice Bar complete with patio heaters!!

Wouldn't like to do it instead of our usual August hol, but for a cheeky last minute week in Icmeler before it goes to sleep, it's great and would do it again in a heartbeat
