Easyjet flights now on sale for late summer 2013

i phoned them yesterday & was quoted £4,200 for 4 adults, 4 children & an infant flying from EDI to Dalaman, middle 2 weeks of July next year. EasyJet have just released their flights online (finally!!!) and I have just booked them for £1,750....£2,500 cheaper than they quoted me on the phone!!!!

now, just gotta find apartments that we can all squeeze into...

the flights out from Edinburgh to dalaman are very well priced around £60, however the return flights are costing around £250 so still a bit pricey compared to the halcyon years. Add on bagage and you are looking at around £340

Why are flights out so chaep and the returns so expensive?

I've booked a one way flight for 7 September today, but only because the return flights aren't available yet. Might be worth looking at other airlines for return flights.

On the same note I emailed Thomas Cook as they have no flight only out of Edinburgh. The reply was that they were offering a limited number of package holidays from Edinburgh to Dalaman but no flight only. I've replied to them that all other airports seem to be available as flight only so why not Edinburgh - I await their reply with interest

After emails flying back and forth, the bottom line is that Thomas Cook will not be offering flight only from Edinburgh for 2013. They are able to offer a limited number of package holidays from Edinburgh (in partnership with some other airline, not sure who).

At least I know now not to wait and hope flights become available because they won't. Will have to be Easyjet or Thomson.

Only Thomsons and Jet2 from Newcastle to Dalaman i think

Don't forget to check flights to Bodrum which is only an extra 40 minute transfer and if you fancy an adventure fly to Rhodes and get the ferry.

Dotty, as far as i know the other airline TC are using is Easyjet!

The flights were live last night and they had some really good prices, but they have rocketed now.

EasyJet Manchester 30th July, 16 nights £480 for 2 passengers' bargain! Thanks for the text ICR. Saved £220 on last years flights with TC.

Wish they flew from Belfast to Dalaman.All we have is Thomson or Thomas Cook.
