I booked my flights a few weeks ago when they first came out and since then they have increased considerably.
Due to the high cost of the flights I have had to go a week earlier in may then I usually go. I fly out on 14 May and saved myself just under £200 by flying out a week earlier

Did you get your flights for a reasonable price?

We're giving Pr***ij a chance as that's all I can afford because of the flight costs but we stayed there in 2000 so at least we know what to expect.
I can't wait. :D

My thoughts exactly Fanny.

As far as I'm aware the only issue with the apartments are the steep stairs to the bedroom and bathroom but if we coped back in 2000 when my son wasn't even 3 years old then I'm sure we will manage to get up and down them next year, lol!

The location is perfect for us too as I prefer to be in a quieter area but with a bit of life not too far away when we want it and by going for a cheaper apartment I've been able to extend the holiday which is a big bonus. :D

I thought we weren't allowed to openly name companies? As for my mentioning the apartment, I thought I wasn't allowed if I hadn't booked through ICR (although I did try)?

By the way, why have some of my topics been removed? :?

Mention anything you want as long as you are not advertising but mentioning an apartment as in Prestij that we list is not a problem

The only thing that was removed was by me and was because it was a duplication of what was being discussed here so need to make a new topic of it

I did mail you back with an offer for Prestij that beat EVERY other travel companies price and when I had no response from you, I called your phone but had no reply and even sent a text message to you and still had no reply so realised that you had booked elsewhere which of course is not a problem to us, shop around that is what shops are for

All we ask is do not open new threads on the same subject as it just clutters the board up

I didn't receive your email but I did get the text message Saturday afternoon, I texted back giving an alternate email address to try but as I didn't hear anything back via text nor email I had to go with the price I'd already sourced that gave me cash-back as that offer ran out Saturday night.
I really did want to book with yourselves otherwise I'd not have bothered wasting your and my time asking for a price in the first place.
Never mind, it's all booked and paid for now and I've only got 285 days, 18 hours & 49 minutes until take-off so all's good!

We have just completed our booking for next year 28June to 13 July apartments and transfer speedily dealt with by JT at ICR Travel.

The flight prices hurt a bit but having tracked a few prices and also looking at a few different options of packages and a change of resorts and country I could see a lot of upward movement in prices.
So it was desision time and Icmeler got the vote and selected the flight that best suited our choice and just bit the bullet.
Not going to keep looking I am happy we have got what we wanted date and time wise so plenty to look forward to over the winter.

I've booked Rhodes apartments for next year through JT at ICR Travel here http://www.icmeleronline.com/apart.php?no=89 , May, June and July and will try a sneaky week in September too. Looked at flights and they are not bad so I am going to start getting these booked up as soon as I can.

I'm just looking for next May's flights - bit peeved to find J2 have massively changed their "loyalty" scheme to only include specific routes now, and guess what - Dalaman isn't one of them! Pah, still, they are the cheapest for our dates so I'll book, no point cutting my nose off and all that but thanks for the notification about that BIG change J2 - doesn't loyalty work both ways!

Just checked flights with Sky Scanner for my May and June jaunts but I have found cheaper with Thomas Cook, though times are different of course as Thomas Cook seem to always have the night flights, hence the price I'm sure. But May I can go 18th for £215 incl meal and bags bundle. Not bad - might have to get this booked quite soon though. June I can go 14th for £253 incl meal and bags. Again not bad. :D

Thumbs up to JT for the text on Easyjet flights on sale last week. Booked 30th July 16 nights. Couldn't believe price of £480 for 2 seats. Just got to ring JT to book accommodation and transfers. Don't want to wish my life away, but roll on July 2013. :D

July flights from Gatwick have suddenly taken a massive hike in price. Not sure I can afford July now!! Hopefully they'll come down a bit. :?
