Munamar Hotel

Postby jo_marie » 18 Jul 2012 10:27

Hi All

Just booked 11 nights at the Munamr (the one one the beach) through the lovely Sharon at ICR, who might I say has been brilliant.

Anyone stayed recently or has any thoughts or experiences of this hotel?? I know a bit about the hotel and its ina fantastic location but just wanted a bit of insight from other guests, cant wait to go :D

My friend booked the Munamar beach hotel with ********** and when they got there they were moved to the ex Olyium Prestige hotel behind the Munamar as this is now called the Munamar beach hotel.
She was told by the Munamar beach (the big white hotel on the beach) them they are only available with Thomson.
I would check to make sure you have booked the correct hotel.

We have booked you into the Munamar Beach and Residence which are both on the beach and up to a few weeks ago was available ONLY through Thomson.

It looks like they could not fill the hotel so has now been put out to all agencies

The ex Oylum Prestige is not called the Munamar Beach hotel as that is on the beach, it is called the Munamar Beach RESORT

If this has been exploited by some agencies then do the simplest thing and do not use them agencies again

Yes John a lot of internet companies were using the photos of the Munamar Beach hotel on their website which caused a lot of confusion.
Many people were unhappy but hopefully they wont use these companies again.
