How lovely that you're so excited from reading the tales from home on here :) I'm sure, without a doubt, that you'll have a wonderful time. September is such a great time to go - I'll be there, might see you around. If you happen across a mad birthday party on the Sunday with a slightly barmy looking girl at the centre of it - come join us, it'll be me!

Hi Jenny,

I must admit I kinda feel the same way, never been to Icmeler but feel like I already know (some) of the place. Great advice and information on here, maps, recommendations, reviews etc. - all very helpful. I too have a few places I plan on taking my wife and daughter to eat/drink - I always do lots of research before I go to a new place and my wife is always amazed at my local knowledge lol

We normally go in September too (last year was near Turgetreis) and the weather is real nice but not too hot on an evening - we didn't even bother with air con last year. This year though we are going in July/August as my 15 year old daughter wanted to come with us and didn't want to take her out of school as it's a big year for her next year (GCSE's and all that).

So, we fly out on Tuesday (24th) and am looking forward to this holiday probably more than any I've been on - just hope it lives up to my (high) expectations lol. At least the weather should be beautiful for the duration of our stay - You have a good time too.

Justin

I am sure you will all have a wonderful time in Icmeler and quickly come to realise why the rest of us on here love the place so much. We always said we'd never go back to the same place on holiday - but that was before we discovered Icmeler. That was several years ago now, and we've been back every year since - most years we've been twice! It has a magic and a charm all of its own - largely down to the people, who are the most welcoming, hospitable and friendly we've ever met anywhere!
