A BIG thank you to JT & charlie1

Postby Chris221273 » 03 Jul 2012 15:18

I would just like to say a huge thanks to JT & charlie1 for their help when I asked the other day about flight prices.
Have to admit I was in a bit of a panic about it all, with only 37 sleeps to go.
And the valuable advice they gave now means my flights are fully booked :-D
We have cut the holiday short by a day, but we have have got 6 flights with monarch, Inc 20kg's luggage and pre-booked seats all together in two rows for £399.00 each, including the 4% credit card charge.
ICR and this forum is what it is thanks to JT and all the staff and all the fabulous members who go beyond the call of duty to help people out.
So thank you, one and all, from us both.

Hi Charlie,
Yep we're all booked, arriving on the 10th August & leaving on 23rd August.
Can't wait to be honest, loved it last year, and being able to go back with knowledge on our side is going to make it a hundred times better, and to visit the friends we made.
35 days and counting.

Great to hear you're sorted Chris!! who did you book flights through in the end? Did you use the flight search on here or contact JT??

Am interested to know because I've not booked yet - long story, new job, lots of exams, head's gone haha, so I've really left it til the last minute and need to book something asap for early August

Thanks in advance

Hi fanny,
We booked with Monarch, £399 inc pre booked seats and 20kg's luggage.
Pretty good considering the prices at the moment!
Hope that helps you fanny.

Fanny the skyscanner search linked on here does all that trawling for you, try putting in whole months rather than specific dates if you are a bit flexible when you go and then just pick the cheapest ones, it's really quick and easy to do, I found some great flights for September and next May that way :)

Flying out 3 Aug in the afternoon, and not decided where to say yet - thinking about Majestic aparts in old village?

I've put a callout on here asking for views and also how far further out they are from Club Daystar with is in the next street to Sidiks. Not had many replies yet so still debating....

Shame I never quite seem to get to Icmeler for as long as you hahaha, but our last full day is 20 Aug, so can't complain. Did I read somewhere you're staying at Sahin?
