and as usual me and the better half had a fantastic holiday !! our 5th year in a row and simply would'nt go anywhere else, i've just read a few posts and cant understand why some people dont seem to enjoy icmeler the way they used to ? but i suppose everybody has there own opinion on things,and i have mine,the new square looks brilliant,a lovely place to sit and relax after your dinner.... sorry to rant on a bit !! i think i'm just feeling sorry for myself BUT there is one thing i'm looking foward to tonight.......... MY OWN BED

Glad you had a great time Jimmy. We've got another 9+ weeks to wait but I just can't wait to get back. It will only be my 2nd time, and the last time was 6 years ago so i'm thinking everything will still feel very new for me, and especially for my partner and her kid as it is their first time ever.

I think the negative views come from people that are the old icmelerites, we have been going to icmeler for the past 14 years, twice a year. We have noticed a lot of changes some good and some not so good, but I can honestly say that if you want to find the old icmeler you still can by walking around the old village and seeing all your turkish friends and waiters, but in the centre on icmeler now it is still nice but has moved on with the times, we go back there 7th September and cannot wait to see the new square and everything else that has changed since last year, you can always find the part of icmeler that you really love somewhere.
