Yes you can buy alcohol at the duty free on arrival, the legal allowance is 1 litre of spirits each

If you are buying to take into Turkey, lets just say the allowance is fairly flexible. However if it is to bring back into the UK then stick to the proper allowances.

When we arrived back last week there were a couple at Birmingham who had been stopped at customs . As we walked past heard lady saying "but they told us at Dalaman that we could bring this much back" Will leave you to imagine what the customs replied!!!!

When you land at Dalaman or any other Turkish airport, you are allowed to buy only 1 litre of spirits in the duty free shop.

If you are landing say at Istanbul and then buy from the duty free there and then fly onto Dalaman, you cannot buy anymore spirits from that duty free as your allowance is noted on the passport
