Hi Pyeman,

There a plenty of places to wine and dine your lady. I always take the missus to The Loveboat for one night whilst in Içmeler as it think its a lovely restaurant and will be ideal if you're really wanting to treat her. But there are other fantastic places
The Bonjour (another favourite)
The Majestic
Venice

The list could be endless but half the fun will be discovering them for yourself. Have fun :D

Best to impress the lady would have to be the Loveboat, appears upmarket with staff' dress code, tables with linen covers & napkins, decor, etc in my opinion looks above the rest (admitedly looks can be deceiving) AND the food is very good. Special ocassion type of restaurant.
However as dj says there are many very good restaurants to enjoy inc. the Chef which is next door to the Love boat.
On the lower of the 2 main streets it is easily found but if staying up in the village a taxi there would also impress her; alternatively the Loveboat does collect & take you to the restaurant but as the vehicle has the name on it would spoil the surprise.
Good luck & hope you both enjoy wherever you choose.

Totally agree with the above for your first romantic meal. Spotlessly clean and the staff are dressed in uniform like the scene from an officer and a gentleman. If that doesnt impress then nothing will  Many lovely eating places, mine being Cupids beside the square at the tourist information office. Enjoy your holiday. You have chosen the best place in the world to be. :D :D

hi pyeman as previousley mentioned the loveboat is a very nice place to eat but we have found that most of the restaurants around icmeler offer every bit as good if not better food at a fraction of the cost, bonjour has been mentioned again very good owned by the same person who owns cupids again cupids is excellant but some people say cupids is a liitle pricey ,the best advice that i can give to you is try several places during your stay and you will find your own personal favourite as we all do but we have found that its every bit the staff treating you so well and making your evening so great as it is the food in thirteen years we have never had a bad meal just some are better than others i know you will have a wonderful time enjoy!

For us it has to be the Champagne Bar on the main beach road lovely staff very good food and service and its really nice if you get a table at the front where you can sit and watch the world go by sipping a drink or two heaven 8)

Our favourites are Set, Chef and The Waterfall. For a special evening we would choose The Waterfall because you can sit under the stars next to a (believe it or not) waterfall complete with ducks and really enjoy the Icmeler way of life (ie relaxing) while eating a great meal. Then after your meal you can relax on the cushions with a drink or have a swing in the hammock. We're a bit old for the latter but the kids love it anyway. It's our 25th wedding anniversary when we are over in August so it will more than likely be spent in this restaurant (and several other drinking establishments).

Enjoy !!!!

Everyone. has made great suggestions but It depends on your own taste. The waterfall is romantic and well worth a visit. I find the loveboat is a cliche and very overpriced (you are in turkey'afterall). The wayside is. Well worth a visit, all the same silver service etc but without the pretention.

Have been to the Waterfall restaurant two or three times over the last ten years of visiting Icmeler and sorry to say , have never once been happy with the service or the food or the time that it takes them to serve it .

Congrats on choosing the best holiday destination. Been going to Icmeler for 10 years, twice a year. Tried all the resturants & never had a bad meal in any of them yet. Personal favourites are Venice, Majestic & Florida.
Great food in all of them. Love boat is just as good but a tad more expensive.

Have fun.

Sidik's family restaurant for us everytime. Fantastic food, quiet location and a lovely family. The food here is out of this world.

For a nice romantic meal with a lovely setting on the beach I would recommend Cafe Del Mar which is set at the end of the beach towards Marmaris.
The staff there bend over backwards for you.
It was out first time in icmeler last year, and we went there.
I spoke to one of the waiters, as I planned on proposing to her that night, and by the time I had come back from the loo they had made up a posey of flowers and hid the ring inside it.
They came down with us to the beach to 'take some pics of us' and then I proposed.
Gladly she said yes, and everything caught on camera.
So maybe I'm biased, but they truely were wonderful.
