Personally I would like to return to Icmeler but the wife would like somewhere different this year.

Really only looking for Sun and Pool and maybe All Inclusive?

Not fussed about country but don't want any longer than four hours flying time ideally.

Whats your number two location and why?

Probably Lanzarote, 4hour flight , more less guaranteed sunshine, good value and the transfers are short for all resorts.

My No2 resort after Icmeler witin Turkey is Hisaronu.
I have also had holidays in Kusadasi - Bodrum - Alanya - Altinkum.

At Hisaronu you can get a Dolmus down into Olu Deniz to visit the beach and when we were there the people on holiday in Olu Deniz came upto Hisaronu for their night out...............enjoy

We are thinking of trying Croatia next year, I love Icmeler but OH and step son want a change. The second choice for us would have been Kos,Greece but the euro makes it impossible to afford it

Funny you should say that but we have also been looking at Croatia,though not a 100% sure. Need to do a bit more research.

Just booked up Olu Deniz in September for our 2nd hol of the year(1st Icmeler in May) i,ll researve judgement till i return, its gotta go some to get near Icmeler.Rog.

I would suggest Ovacik which is right next door to Hisaronu. We spent 3 weeks there last year and loved it. Hisaronu is minutes away and you can easily get into Olu Deniz and Fethiye. Definately worth considering.

How about Marmaris? If you don't much care for it there is a lovely little place just along the coast, a short dolmus ride away....

I made the mistake of going somewhere for a change last May and this May.
We went to Rhodes last May and every time we went to Rhodes town I was tempted to get on the ferry to Marmaris.
This May we went to Calis beach and hated it.
We kept comparing it to Icmeler.
Why dont you just stay in a different area in Icmeler?
