Icmeler Excursions and Market

Hello,

Not long now, two weeks till our first time in Turkey. It's mine and my girlfriends first holiday together after two years of being together.

Does anyone have any recommendations on excursions to go on? I like the sound of the all inclusive boat trips.
And what about the market? I'm looking forward to haggling and getting some decent knockoff's.

hello kieran ,we have just come back we went on jeep safari was a full day out it was great but dont wear good clothes and be prepared to get wet .also if you like horses ,horse safari was good cost around £12 or 35 lira .you will love it ,try ida resturant in square next to bonjour very nice food .

hi kieran, im in the same situation as you..first holiday with my other half ive been to icmeler 2 years ago for my 21st and totally fell in love with it. I recommend the boat trip its a great day with beautiful views and a great way to relax! You will definally get some bargains in the markets! have a great time

Icmeler market is on a Wednesday and yes, you can get some good bargains, but be prepared to haggle - and don't be afraid to walk away if the price isn't right. The market does get very busy though and can be very hot, so best to go earlier when it is still a bit cooler. The fruit and veg is very good - loads of choice and all very fresh. As for the clothes, bags. wallets, belts and the rest of it, just make sure that you examine everything closely, as the quality can vary, and make sure that the size you want is the size you get.
