Have just been reading on Tripadvisor that all inclusive boat trips will be illegal as from today! Is this true for everywhere, or does it just apply to Marmaris?

As far as we know Marionk it is just Marmaris, i did speak to the guy we use for our daily boat trips and he said that it was just Marmaris.

We have 16 for boat trip so far but we need more, so anyone who wants to go and not already booked, put your name down and get booking

I would suggest that you take a look here:

It implies that the new law covers every boat trip including private trips. If this is the case, we would not want to be dictated to by the local council. We have booked through you for good reason - if we have to go with someone else on another boat we will no be very happy.

Any chance of clarifying the situation for us?

Marion we are in Icmeler where there is no laws stating that there is no all inclusive

Marmaris is where this law has come in

I remember well when it happened years ago and lasted I think 2 weeks as no one would buy a boat trip

Thanks JT - I am aware that Icmeler and Marmaris are 2 separate places. However, a couple of the posts on the Tripadvisor thread did state that the law applied to the whole of that section of coast, which does include both Marmaris and Icmeler. Will await to see how things pan out.

This trip is now full.

We are not taking anymore bookings for the boat and we have only booked for people that have actually paid up front and the people that have expressed an interest and were going to come into the office to book have unfortunately missed out so maybe next time
