Glad to see things weather are wise are back to normal ... just took our waterproofs, wellies and snorkels back out of the Suitcase!

Quick cup of Tea, slice of our Wedding cake and then bed (no 'you know what', we're an old married couple now! ) ... up at 3am ready for the journey to the Airport and away we go!! .. Hooray!!

Last night we had a bit of a storm with lots of lightning and today even though it is still very muggy with big clouds in the distance, Icmeler is very sunny with temperatures of 39 degrees

We have been through this earlier in this thread. The forecast on your phone is what someone thinks will happen based on data at the weather station at Dalaman airport.

The updates from John are as it is at the time in Icmeler!

Lots of clouds about today and temps down to 23 degrees but if the clouds lift later today it could go up to high 30's

Icmeler 14:30 17th May 2012

This morning started nice then the clouds came and then the sun is out again

No rain today as yet and even when I thought it was chilly this morning, all the tourists were walking around in shorts and no tops

33 degrees at the moment in the sun

Icmeler 18th May 2012 12 noon

It started raining about 1am this morning and did so all night, woke up at 7 am to brilliant sunshine and thought I will have another hour

Black skies when I next awoke with thunder, lightning and hailstones

Temperature in the square at 12 noon was 13 degrees but the sun has just appeared now so should hopefully be ok later today

No photos yet as I don't have an underwater camera

I hope the bad weather doesnt last long, because now it´s only 4 sleeps until I´m on my way to Icmeler And, of course, so that all of you who is in Icmeler right now will have a lovely holiday with a lot of sun! I see no rain on the webcam so I guess it cleared up.

Rained most of the night then cleared up 8ish this morning but then as I was leaving for town it started again

On and off most of the day I think

It gets a bit bright then dark clouds loom in again

I had a woman complaining to me this morning outside the office (never knew her from Adam) that she will never come to Turkey in May again, I said we have had 40+ degrees every day just the last week unsettled, also complained about price of booze, said the bars with the cheap booze were boring, don't go in them I said to which she replied well they are cheap but the bars with entertainment are dearer, O'h and she can't get flights for £30 anymore, what can you say

Anyway the photo's tell the story of the sky and temperatures down to 21 degrees but I wouldn't worry as when the sun comes back out it will be hot
