Where to have my birthday?!

Hello Katie,

Oh how exciting - we are flying out on Sunday and it is also my birthday while we are in beautiful Icmeler. Hope you have a wonderful holiday. We are eating at Sidik's Family Restaurant for my birthday - we absolutely love it (its in the Old Village). His food is AMAZING and the whole family are so welcoming - they will treat so well if you manage to eat there. Unfortunately this time around we have only managed a week away but we will eat at Sidiks at least three times so that may give you an idea of the quality of the food. It is a fairly quiet place however so if you are after a more "party" atmosphere you may like to try somewhere else. Happy Hols.

I've already booked a table and traditional turkish birthday cake.... for our party!!

If you go to most of the resturants and have a word with chef/staff and tell them what you would like i.e. cake,cocktails,drinks,dancers i am sure they will help organise the party for you. We have had several birthdays over the years and had great nights in Venice, Deja Vu,Romance,three bells.As i have said before, 99% of the staff in Icmeler in the bars and resturants are absolutely fantastic, and all they want is for us to have a great time.

Last year my husband had his birthday in Icmeler.We went to the Tandoori Sizzler to eat ,I had spoken to them before hand and the gave him a little cake with candle.There was just the two of us.Then we went to Havana and had a really good night with Zaza and the boys.Much more choice than at home and really good times ,have a great time!

I have had my birthday every year in so many different restaurants and i have never had a bad one. Friends is also good, we will just goto them all and eat lots of cake haha.

I have to second what Sarah has previously said, I would also spend my birthday at Sidik's restaurant up in the old village. This family will make you so welcome, and I think they produce the best food in Icmeler. This family is fantastic, and we love them very much. We can't wait to visit in ten weeks time. Enjoy your birthday!

For my friend Ady's 40th last year we went to Coco Beach, they arranged an excellent table upstairs with a great view, also did us cake and cocktails free of charge. I think anywhere you choose they will look after you and give you a night to remember.

I would favour Bonjour. Only because I love the food, the staff are always welcoming and attentive. Plus I like the feel of the place. It feels a little more expensive - which it can be a little but well worth it. But that is my opinion. Wherever you decide, have a fantastic holiday and birthday and I cannot wait for 28 days time when I go to paradise myself.
