You would have to consult the people you booked Vela from to see if air con was included though this should havebeen told to you at the time of booking

What I meant to say or to put in a different way is some hotels that we include air con in, when booked through other agencies it is not

Hi I stayed at the Vela last September and stayed all inclusive. Food is average just what you expect from an all inclusive but I ate out every night through choice and never bothered looking at what was on offer but breakfast and lunch was good. The bar is ok , the draught beer was Tuborg. Staff at the Vela are very helpful the manager and assistant manager will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Air conditioning was free when i stayed but whether this has changed this season i do not know. The pool is all one depth so not really suitable for small children but there is a splash pool there. Mid afternoon everyone moves to the garden to catch the rays as most of the pool becomes shaded, hope this helps. Location of the hotel is great, right in the square.

Yes wi-fi is available at the hotel, decor is good as well. Manager drove one couple to the airport who had to re-arrange flights as they missed their flight. Any other questions please feel free to ask.

Hi
I have stayed at The Vela twice last year and I am going again on the 4th of May for two weeks. The hotel is spotless, the staff are amazingly helpfull. The food is plentifull but being only three star it is very repetitive,(chicken and meatballs and lots of different salads) but it is fresh and tasty. I tend to use the hotel as a glorified B&B and have breakfast and lunch at the hotel and eat out of an evening, not because there is anything wrong with the food, its just because I have never paid much to stay there and I like eating out. Cankat and Urgur are the owners of The Vela and are the nicest men I have ever met. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they love to hear any constructive criticism. They love socialising with the guests in the pool bar. They have recently also purchased The Verde hotel in Icmeler as well. The drinks that are included in AI are Tuborg, vodka, gin, raki, red wine, white wine and soft drinks. Cocktails cost 10tl and are rather yummy! Metin the pool guy is extremely helpful and friendly, Marty the barman has a wicked sense of humour and Nihat the reception manager is always friendly and helpful. The maids are all lovely and do a fabulous job.
There is free wifi in the reception area and in the pool area as well. I am sure you will have a lovely holiday.

Tracey :)
