cheesecake in icmeler

Postby swwogglehound » 17 Apr 2012 12:30

Back for our 4th visit to Icmeler, can anyone recommend a place for a good quality take away cheesecake this year as the one on the main street has unfortunatly closed and I really need that vanilla fix.

Cafe Anne on the beach, Cafe Anne on main road, Yavuz on main road and Bakal supermarket facing Diva bar now has a tea room attached with nice cakes (I was asked to test them honestly)

Charlie's Place makes yummy cheesecake. I'm sure they'd let you have some to take away. As long as there's enough left for me.... Would recommend their brownies as well.

I actually thought the sour cherry cheesecake in Coco Beach was better than the one in Cafe Anne's (on the main road). The cheesecake you get at the Kerem on the canal is to die for too, though.

Yummy. I have been on a health kick since October and I have now lost nearly 2 stone so I think a few of these cheesecakes maybe consumed in August when I am there! :D

Have to agree the Wayside cheesecake is gorgeous. Have never managed a desert after an evening meal but have often popped in if out and about mid afternoon and had coffee and cheesecake. My mate couldn't decide what she wanted so Hamdi made her a Trio, which included cheesecake, Tiramisu and chocolate brownie in smaller portions.

thanks a lot forumers, We are only there for a fortnight so I think we will be able to sample them all and will get back to you all with the results, if my waistband allows, when we return.
Hope to see some old friends out and about in May.

cheers.

Had the best cheesecake ever in Kerem by the side of the canal. The lady who owns the restaurant makes her own cheesecakes and is really proud of them. They are delicious.
