No report yesterday due to no internet connection but all good now

Temperatures have dropped a little and there are black skies towards Marmaris but hopefully they will soon go

26 degrees in what little sun we have but still a nice day all round

It was looking like a very stormy day was going to unfold this morning but now all cleared up

Blue skies with clouds here and there

31 degrees in the sun

Quite a few tourists walking around Icmeler with Greenmar apartments having guests and the bar open, Devamli also open and all eating breakfasts in the Love Boat.

Love Boat is not completely finished but they have done great things with it, oh the Sports Bar open too.

Weather a bit hit and miss today as in it's cloudy with sun breaking through here and there

In the sun temperature is 31 but when sun goes it is still a bit of a muggy 20 degrees

I acquired a Husky dog last night(well said I would look after it) as one of the residents is moving to another part of Turkey and doesn't know if she can take it yet until she meets up with her husband and checks the new house.

I have had an earlier one than usual today as I heard it howling at 7am so got up showered dressed and quick cool coffee and took for walk.

30 minutes walk around village and town and then hit the beach and thought to myself shall I take the chance and let it off

I have a crazy dog

It ran into the sea howling again then came running out, rolled in the sand then shook it all over me.

Then it took off down the beach like a howling banshee and I thought oh well its gone now but then it stopped about 200 yards away, then it started digging a hole in the sand still howling or screaming cant work it out yet, then ran at me at speed like a mad dog and jumped all over me with its minging sandy paws

Oh well we got to know each other anyway

Hi John, Loved the story. The dog looks to be a Husky or part thereof. Huskies I am told don't bark, they 'Yeeoowl' instead. So I would say that at 7am it was telling you it was time to get up and on the beach it was telling you how pleased & excited it was to be with you enjoying some freedom and trust.

A nice breeze today to keep it a little cooler when in the sun

Blue skies all around without a sight of a cloud

37 degrees in the sun

4th April 2012 Icmeler

Blue skies again but lots of clouds passing over

People were swimming in the sea today in front of Fantasia hotel and quiete a few people walking along the promenade from Marmaris to visit Icmeler market

34 degrees in the sun today and quite pleasant

Oooh good to hear that people were swimming in front of Fantasia .. that's where I'm staying (first visit to Icmeler ) the last 2 weeks of May!! What temperature would you expect it to be by that time of year JT? I say expect, I know its not a given, I mean look at the UK .. scorchio one week, snowing the next!! It's bizarre!!

Nice temperatures for April.
We have six inches on snow in West Yorkshire today.
Cant wait to get into the sun 67-sleeps to go
or alternatively 43 work shirts to go

I spoke to the lady and she said she was from Finland and swims in ice water back home but she did say that the sea was cold

We had a bad winter in the resort and temperatures were down everywhere so sea will be too

May will be nice don't worry and you have a very nice hotel and beach front area to enjoy

Oh, that's less encouraging then if she's used to swimming in iced water!!! I have to say I am a certified wimp when it comes to cold water but I'm sure it will be fine by the time we get there. Thanks for the info JT

5th April 2012 Icmeler

13:00 and it is trying to brighten up but it has up to now been a very grey day here in Icmeler

Temperature only 19 degrees but the sun is hidden behind a sky full of grey clouds

I hope it picks up for the Easter arrivals in the resort

Really breezy today but a very nice day overall

Clear blue skies and completely the opposite of yesterday

37 degrees in direct sunlight

The fountains and lights were tested in the square last night but I never got a photo, personally it looks very tacky to me but then I suppose its horses for courses

7th April 2012 Icmeler

Was out the door with the dog at 8am this morning without a jacket on as it was so nice

No wind at all today with temperature in the direct sun a whopping 42 degrees

Lots of people enjoying the Easter weather today outside bars and on the beach

I walked through the square last night and there was soil but this morning the grass was sprouting, amazing what a bit of sun and water does

36 degrees? On my tempgage on my computer it says 18 - 21 in Icmeler.

Reported temps are normally taken in the shade. JT will be taking temps in direct sunlight, which is a good indication of how toasty it will be by the pool or on the beach!
