count me in!

Postby gem2710 » 12 Mar 2012 14:17

After finally persuading my boyfriend, we are coming to the beautiful icmeler in september! :D i am just wondering if anyone could give me some ideas as to what activities we can do whilst we are there...

When i came 2 years ago i knew about the boat trips and jeep safari, is there anything else suitable for 21 year olds? im quite happy sunbathing all day but i know he will be bored

thank you in advance :)

You could try the Quad Bikes, although take a change of clothes as you get very dirty.
Can't remember how much but wasn't too pricey.

Hi Gem,
Firstly congratulations in convincing your other half to visit paradise.
You could take him scuba diving and that would keep him occupied for a day.
Having been on the quad safari you will both love it, was great fun but yes you do get a bit wet and dirty.
Take a look at the ICR trips you might get some ideas from there.

I am sure he will have a great time.

So much to do! A day's fishing trip? Paragliding? Ringo? Lots of activities around the beach. All inclusive boat trip for the day (lots of loud music and efes). Markets - Turunc on Monday, Icmeler Wednesday, Marmaris Thursday. Walk to Marmaris along the sea front, lots of bars along the way to keep the dehydration at bay  , jetski's, swimming with dolphins.

Have a great time whatever you decide :D

Your boyfriend could also do what I do when in Içmeler with the missus. After lunch she sits reading a book on a sun lounger sunbathing, I go out for a shave (furthest away from our hotel). After that I then have an Efes in every bar on the way back to the hotel. A few hours later I'm back and rather merry ;)

I once did this when I went away with my parents, not so much for a shave but I walked down to the prom to go and see a friend. He was working so I sat and had a couple of beers, until his break. We then went for a drink and ended up having a few vodka cherry drinks, well, few hours later I had to get the bus home to find Mum and Dad sitting in the bar all dressed for dinner waiting for me - oops! Had to shower rather quickly and sober up a little!
